ughh that background took me so long -.-
like 6 hours

anyways this is a commission for :iconnightabsol:, thank you so much for commissioning me!! <3
I had alot of fun drawing them c:

things I learned: I fail at trees, I fail at wings, I fail at grass, I fail at EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH BACKGROUNDS D:
I need more practise -.-

First of all, I'd like to say that the overall outcome of this picture is of a quite high quality! I love the ambiance of the background, and the position of the characters, the flower and the trees is very good! You also drew the two canines extremely well, and their face expressions are amazing!

I know backgrounds are pretty hard to make, for the leaves are a little bit odd. Nevertheless I really think this backgrounds suits the overall picture. One thing I'd like to remark though is the fact that the dark grass suddenly becomes lighter close to the river, if you get what I mean. Personally, I'd fade it a bit more c:

One last remark is that I love the way you did the river, but the shape of the mountain is a little bit too round. It also stops quite suddenly at the horizon.
